November Update
First of all, I give honor to God who is first in my life. I say that because it's true, not because it's the thing to say among christians. This month I have been really busy marketing my books. It was really hard work going from craft show to craft show hoping that the people would see the value in the books that I offer. I just have to continue to pray and rely on the Lord's leading. I met a number of women who shared my hope for their products. We are willing to travel 30 and 40 miles or more to sell our wares. I want to thank Sis. Lee Stewart and the members of St. Paul's Baptist Church in West Chester, New Jersey. They held their first craft show this year in their new and beautifully constructed church facility. I was also blessed by Zion Baptist Church in Ardmore. Minister Jeanette Myers-Gilbert was so excited about my books that she called her pastor as she was filling out the order forms. Pastor Pollard suggested that she invite me to their craft fair the following week. She explained that I was already committed to another function. Without skipping a beat, her pastor suggested that they would set up a table for me and sell the books for me. God is so good. We made arrangements for me to come out to Ardmore and deliver my order forms and sample books. I am so grateful to Minister Myers-Gilbert, her husband, Bro. Gilbert, who manned the table for me and Pastor Pollard. It was to first time I had books being sold in New Jersey and Pennsylvania on the same day and at the same time. I took time out last week to meet with Angela Pipersburg, President of the Christian Chamber of Commerce and we had a chat which was aired on Sunday, November 26 on WFIL 560. We had a wonderful time sharing how the Lord is working in both of our lives. I will be receiving the interview and plan to add it to my website so you may hear the full interview. Below is a PDF file that has a list of questions and answers that I put together to prepare for the actual interview. Of course, when actually being interviewed, my answers were not as detailed as what I prepared, so I want to share with you the questions and what I had hope to answer.
