"In
spite of hat some may say, or believe don't achieve on or own. Quotes
such as "I am a self-made man" or "I did it all by myself"
it is my contention that we are indeed somewhat off track if we believe
this. Consider the following: if we truly are self-made men, then our
parents, friends, family and ancestors played no part whatsoever. We
must have been born, lived, accomplished monumental tasks, set world
records, overcame insurmountable obstacles, all of this was done purely
by the individual's own self initiative.
Allow
me the opportunity to say that my father played a major role in me being
the person that I am today."
